My artwork stems from many years of research and they have a common starting point; researching “childhood creation”, a specific childhood painting that I kept from the age of about 7 years.
MY SECRET
The re-encounter with painting made me consciously and unconsciously notice old inner points and a great desire to discover history; Going back in time and exploring the elements that appear in the work like my name that repeats three times, the sea, the mother whale, the wooden daughter whale, and the characters ... I try to link them into the collective unconscious and delve into “creation/genesis stories” in myths and religion and re-create artwork after much research and passion.

My works are a kind of repetitive variations that develop in different directions, sometimes with classical mediums: basalt sculpture, oil paintings, prints and engravings. other times with modern mediums: digital media, installation work and sound.
A recurring motif within my works are "whale" and "box”, a passive and active element that conjures and manifests everything to the starting point of said "childhood painting".
